2008 YOUTH AUCTION

The PCCHA Youth Fund Auction is one of the most successful youth cutting fund raisers in the country. At this year’s PCCHA Derby event, the annual auction raised more than $93,000 for PCCHA’s Youth Scholarship Fund from a myriad of generous supporters! Once again, at the helm of these supporters was Mr. Fred Steck of Latigo Canyon Ranch who, for the fourth year in a row, graciously contributed $25,000. Challenging the membership to match his gesture, Steck was the motivator behind donations by collective individuals totaling $37,500! A silent auction produced another $30,500. The PCCHA Youth Fund is very appreciative of Mr. Steck’s involvement, as he has provided a significant boost and backbone to this very valuable program supporting PCCHA youth cutters.
The PCCHA Youth Scholarship Fund provides funding for college tuition, youth clinics and other events and programs benefiting the PCCHA youth membership.

Thank You Fred Steck! 2007 Youth Benefit Auction!

Anyone who has been around Youth Fundraising Functions on the West Coast for the last few years knows Fred Steck. He has not only been one of the most generous, gracious donors to the PCCHA Scholarship cause, but also one of our most avid supporters period. At this year's Youth Benefit Auction, Fred Steck and the Latigo Canyon Ranch upped the challenge by placing $30,000 on the table.
However, there was a catch, as Steck would only pay one dollar for every dollar donated by another person. No surprise, but this was no problem for our association! By the end of the night, Steck's $30,000 was not only met, it was passed by as the bidding went for an additional $10,000!
Need-less-to-say it was an incredible night, for everyone involved, but especially for the youth.
Due to this incredible deal, youth from all over the Coast will be finding college payments that much easier. We, from the PCYCHA, would like to thank Fred Steck for all he has done for us and the scholarships funded for us.
You generosity, kindness and giving spirit has meant so much to so many of us, and has not gone unnoticed. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Fred; you have made an impact on youth all throughout the association.
